 Models by the Number

Hello, Everyone!

     This update will be a little short, as unfortunately most of my current work is simply batch painting my models and maintaining consistency. I am still very pleased with how the color scheme continues to turn out. Below is one of my favorite examples so far.


     With Spring Break coming up, I have big plans for getting models finished. I plan to spend a significant amount of time of my break getting models done, including this Sentinel Walker. This will be one of the largest models I have ever painted, and I'm very excited to see it completed

     Unfortunately that's all I have for now, but by next week I think I'll have something more substantial to show off. Tune in next week to see if I haven't had a mental break painting these models.

    I like the colors, the white and blue is really nice. I'm excited to see the fully painted walker. I don't know anything about Warhammer, but the model looks very Star Wars so I liked it.

    Thanks! I like how the colors look as well. As for Warhammer, you're pretty close. Take Star Wars, make it x5 more depressing, and slap a bunch of Gothic Architecture and Skulls on everything. Boom, Warhammer

Adjusting Expectations     Hello again, everyone!     Last week, I challenged myself to completely assemble the "Cadia Stands" army box kit for Warhammer 40,000 by Games Workshop. Unfortunately for me, building models becomes even more challenging when you are sick. Week 5: Hobby Homes

Hobby Homes Hello, Everyone!      This Week, I wanted to have a few models painted as concepts for the finished product. However, when I pulled out my collection of model paints, I realized I was lacking some of the paint I needed. So, for this week, I decided to take a trip to the hobby stores I frequent, and tell you all a little about them.  Zeeks Comics and Games     Anyone who knows me has probably seen me sporting my infamous Zeeks hat. Zeeks is my go-to Game Store, and I have been going here since my Freshman year of college. Zeeks is located in the Cherry Tree shopping center in Washington Illinois, next to the Kroger. Zeeks has a lively community with different games taking place every day of the week.
