Week 2: And now, for something entirely different

Change of Plans     Hello again, everyone!     Last week, I started this blog as an exploration of Fictional Worlds. Unfortunately, however, I realized that while I found my topic of choice interesting, my ability to properly convey my interest in such a topic in and interesting, engaging, and informative manner was... limited. Therefore, I have decided  to switch my topic completely. Instead of posting about my niche interest , I will now be posting my niche Hobby.      For those who do not know (which I can safely assume constitutes the majority of people viewing this Blog,) Warhammer 40,000 is a Tabletop War Game created by Games Workshop. The Setting is science fiction, though with a plethora of Fantasy tropes mixed in. I could go on for pages about the setting itself, but thankfully for all of you, that is not the purpose of this Blog.    I will, instead, be focusing on the models for the War Game itself. Exploring this Week: Kenshi

Kenshi      Hello Everyone! This is my first entry to this Blog, and I am excited to share one of my passions with you all. Seeing as this is my first official post, what time could be better to discuss a niche video game that alienates the majority of casual viewers? So for this week's barely qualified rambling, I'm going to discuss one of my favorite games from a storytelling standpoint: Kenshi      Released in 2018 by developer Lo-Fi Games, Kenshi is an Open World Roleplaying Game. The game stands out from it's genre with one simple fact: you are NOT  the hero. There is nothing special about you, you have no mystical powers, and there is no reason you stand out from anyone else in the world. To be blunt, If for some reason your character disappeared, fundamentally nothing would change about the world or the people in it.
